Jennie BLACKPINK akan segera merilis single spesial berjudul You & Me pada 6 Oktober 2023. Kabar ini sudah dikonfirmasi YG Entertainment, yang mana agensi tersebut mengunggah poster resmi yang menampilkan sang idol memakai dress merah berlatar bulan purnama.
“We decided to officially release it out of gratitude to the fans who ardently followed and supported us during the ‘Born Pink’ world tour. We hope it will serve as a special memento, rekindling the emotion of that time,” tulis YG dikutip dari All Kpop, Rabu (4/10/2023).
Dalam keterangan tersebut, YG Entertainment menjelaskan pihaknya akhirnya memutuskan untuk merilis single You & Me secara resmi usai sebelumnya hanya dinyanyikan saat konser. Keputusan ini dibuat berdasarkan permintaan sekaligus ucapan terima kasih untuk BLINK (sebutan penggemar BLACKPINK) yang terus mendukung Jennie cs.
You & Me memang pertama kali diperkenalkan ke publik saat PINK World Tour in Seoul pada 15 Oktober 2022. Setelahnya, single itu nyaris selalu dibawakan idol kelahiran 1996 tersebut selama tur dunia BLACKPINK bertajuk Born Pink World Tour.

Jennie membawakan You & Me saat konser memasuki sesi solo stage. Lagu tersebut, tepatnya yang versi remix, juga dinyanyikan ketika sang idol manggung di Coachella, Amerika Serikat pada 15 April 2023 lalu.
