Girl group K-Pop yang salah satu membernya berasal dari Indonesia, VVUP, resmi debut dengan merilis Locked On pada Senin (1/4/2024). Ini merupakan album single pertama mereka usai sebelumnya merilis lagu pra-debut Do Doom Chit pada 13 Maret 2024 lalu.
Mengikuti Do Doom Chit, Locked On juga diproduksi oleh produser terkenal, earattack, yang telah menciptakan lagu hit untuk beberapa idol K-Pop sebelumnya. Sebut saja Dope milik BTS, ONE SPARK dari TWICE, dan Hard Carry oleh GOT7.
Single debut VVUP memiliki vibes ceria, senada dengan liriknya yang memancarkan semangat para member dalam debut. Lagu ini juga menampilkan vokal yang powerful dan koreografi yang memukau dari keempat member.
Locked On sendiri menceritakan ambisi dan tekad VVUP untuk mencapai puncak industri musik. Lewat lagu ini, VVUP mengumumkan kedatangan mereka sebagai ‘pemberontak remaja kelas atas’ di industri musik dengan pesona yang unik.
